THE COUPLE
A laid back duo who had spent a summer working on the island - they wanted to combine a fun beachy holiday for all their friends with a special symbolic ceremony celebrating their love for each other.
WHERE
They knew what they wanted - they knew the most beautiful spot to have their Symbolic Ceremony and they knew the best place to have their dinner Celebration - within walking distance and with the best views of the town, the sea and the historic old city.
STYLING
The brides style was simple and white with coral accents a perfect choice for peonies- at the dinner olive branches framed the tables with lots of sparkling candles. All against the white Cycladic backdrop of Apostolis Taverna the effect was magical.
SOURCING & PLANNING
For the first time the serene bay under the Portara hosted a Champagne Refreshment table with appetizers for 45 Wedding guests - they enjoyed a stunning view of the town stained pink with sunset colors and watched the boats coming and going - a real highlight of the Celebration.
FUN & MEMORIES
Known on the island as the fun flamingo Wedding - there were men in flamingo suits and guests floating on flamingo beach toys - this bunch had fun from start to finish.
KIND WORDS
Flora is an amazing planner! We had an absolutely fantastic time on our big day because we didn't have to worry about anything, it was all taken care of. All the details were sorted and everything look fabulous, we enjoyed the day so much and wish we could do it all again! She has a great eye for styling and had great relationships with the suppliers.
We would thoroughly recommend organizing a wedding with Island events!
