THE COUPLE
Tunisian groom - Indian bride - full of creative spice and everything nice - under the sun in Greece - it was a passionate mix of customs and traditions that was fun and interesting and made for an exceptional experience for everyone involved-including the planners!
WHERE
On the beach almost in the waves - the mandap was built and painted and hung with cloth - guests played games and sat on chairs and enjoyed the musical celebration of the Ceremony. Afterwards dancing was the highlight at Banana Beach Bar - hanging out at the Shisha station gave everyone a much needed rest - a sunrise swim was the perfect finale.
STYLING
Middle Eastern happiness – colorful – 3 dress changes dramatic – sparkly – bright – vivid and rich – showcased against the Greek island blue and white – perfect place for any Celebration!
SOURCING & PLANNING
Everything necessary for a Hindu Wedding that could’nt be found in Naxos was sourced from Athens – including the priest!
FUN & MEMORIES
It all started with a boat ride that included dancing and diving – continued with a Mehndi party with henna, more dancing and lots of food and cocktails, then it was time for the Wedding and the Party – more dancing more shisha and more equally entertaining moments – 3 days of happiness and a lifetime of love for Kinnari and Mustapha.
KIND WORDS
We’ve just returned from the most perfect, beautiful wedding either of us could have asked for, thanks to Island Events! Flora & Debbie were our emotional guides, planners, negotiators, venue finders, decorators, coordinators and even our shrinks for when the wedding pressure got too much! Indian weddings are definitely not easy to plan for and this was an Indian-Tunisian wedding with families living across three different countries. We started out wanting a wedding and a reception, which then turned into that + a boat party + a mehndi party + a cocktails night. Flora & Debbie navigated the complexity beautifully, they were detailed, extremely communicative, warm and very professional. We LOVED working with them and are so thankful to them for helping us create such a memorable wedding. Highly highly recommend this dynamic duo! :)
