THE COUPLE
They wanted to have a simple celebration with family and friends on the island they love – where their family has a home and where they have shared so many beautiful memories.
WHERE
They chose the most picturesque and unique churches on the island – the Byzantine Church of Agios Georgios Diasoritis – lovingly restored and sitting in all its rustic glory in an olive grove. This was one of the first Weddings to take place here and we arranged permission to have the church open especially so the guests to view the frescoes. Eating drinking and dancing took place at Axiotissa Restaurant where Sofia and Gianni put on a special homemade feast.
STYLING
Our very creative, resourceful and fun loving bride sewed her own bunting and crocheted her own table decorations – we added our festival lighting and styled the refreshment tables at the church. The flowers matched her creations – happy, colorful and full of fun!
SOURCING & PLANNING
A big happy family on the bus with the groom – a walk along the cobbled path amongst the goats to get to the church – guests were greeted with Pimms, champagne and lemonade once they arrived.
FUN & MEMORIES
Dining on delicious local specialties and dancing till dawn – unforgettable memories of a rustic Wedding in Greece.
KIND WORDS
Flora and her team were wonderful! We had the most amazing experience with them. They took care of everything, were incredibly helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. They made the entire experience really enjoyable and we are so happy that we chose them for our special day!
