THE COUPLE
Having a family connection to the island and always dreaming of a barefoot beach wedding the decision was easy and Naxos was perfect.
WHERE
Alyko Beach has a very interesting forest path leading to it - guests emerged onto the beach and were surprised with an award winning view.
STYLING
Claudia knew exactly what she wanted and Pinterest was our best friend. Different stations led up to the beach where the guests wrote their wishes to the couple, enjoyed a refreshing lemonade and even got to take their shoes off. Everything from mini purple cake pops to caricatured place names every detail was personalized and perfect.
SOURCING & PLANNING
The fine points of this successful celebration included cocktail tables with big purple bows, a guitarist to entertain the guests while the couple had a private photo session and a list of special food requests. The bride pulled out all the stops and the guests were duly impressed.
FUN & MEMORIES
No one could forget the belly dancer or the heartfelt speeches from the family. The photo booth was a great hit and the DJ kept the dance floor packed all night.
KIND WORDS
Islandevents made our dream wedding come true. We chose Naxos for our beach wedding because we have family there and the island is simply beautiful. We met Debbie and Flora and there was no doubt that we want islandevents to plan our wedding. Debbie and Flora are wonderful people. We told them how we imagined our big day and they immediately knew what we wanted.
Every detail was planned to perfection. (I must say I was a very detail oriented bride) As we are not living in Greece we kept in touch by email and whatsapp. They also made a secret group on pinterest so I could post my vision. The ceremony was on a stunning beach side. The setup on the beach blew us away! We never imagined it to be so beautiful. The dinner and party was at Picasso which is a lovely restaurant on the beach. The decoration and set up in Picasso blew us again away!
Thanks to islandevents Debbie, Flora and their team, our purple wedding was the most perfect and beautiful day in our lives!
